Q-Youth is a by-youth, for-youth charitable organisation dedicated to providing support, advocacy, information and education for queer and trans youth and their friends, family & whānau, schools, workplaces, and wider communities. We are committed to safety and work with the community to make the Nelson/Tasman region a safe place to grow up LGBTQIA+

Mission Statement:
Q-Youth's mission is to support LGBTQIA+/Takatāpui youth and young people in Te Tau Ihu by creating safe spaces, advocating for their interests, fostering a safe community, and providing essential community resources that focus on rainbow support. We are dedicated to supporting the education of our community on various rainbow issues, including trans youth advocacy.
Q-Youth aims to involve youth in all aspects of our organisation, empowering them to become future leaders and role models within the queer youth support network and the wider community.
